Mission & Vision
Multi-Area Director's Letter
My name is Marcellus Casey, and I am excited to be in Kansas City and serve alongside you in my role as Metro Kansas City FCA’s multi-area director. My vision for FCA in Kansas City is simple: create opportunities that are beyond my own capacity. Following this God-given dream, I am committed to serving the Lord in Metro KC by communicating the FCA vision and creating more opportunities to grow our staff, volunteers and donors through FCA’s Four C’s of Ministry: Coaches, Campus, Camp and Community.
Thank you for your excitement in impacting the world for Jesus Christ through the influence of Metro Kansas City FCA. We have a great opportunity to minister to and through coaches and impact athletes in the Kansas City area. I believe that together we can take FCA to a deeper level of impact in our community like never before. We are poised to create new campus ministries, increase our number of camps and establish FCA ministries in new regions of the Kansas City Metro area.
May God bless you as you continue to serve Him!

Overview of FCA
The Four C's of Ministry
The Coaches Ministry vision is to redeem sports through transformed coaches. FCA ministers to coaches through Bible studies, prayer support, discipleship and mentoring, resources, outreach events and retreats.
The Campus Ministry is initiated and led by student-athletes and coaches on junior high, high school and college campuses. It has four ministry types: Huddles, Team Bible Studies, Chaplain Programs and Coaches Bible Studies.
Camps are a time of “inspirations and perspiration” for coaches and athletes to reach their potential by offering comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training.
The “win” of Community Ministry is to see the community reached for Jesus Christ through adult involvement. FCA partners with local churches, businesses, parents and volunteers to invest in coaches and athletes participating in club, recreational and youth sports teams.
To see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
To present to coaches and athletes, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.
Our relationships will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence.
We will demonstrate Christ-like wholeness, privately, and publicly. (Proverbs 11:3 )
We will model Jesus’ example of serving. (John 13:1-17 )
We will express our unity in Christ in all our relationships. (Philippians 2:1-4 )
We will honor and glorify God in all we do. (Colossians 3:23-24 )
